Très Chic Wine Wednesday

Happy hump day. Happy September. Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad!

What better way to celebrate your anniversary than with some Très Chic wine. If you were here I'd spring for a fancier bottle. But these wines are pretty good, so maybe I would just buy a few more bottles instead and not tell you how cheap they were. Except you're my biggest blog fans - so you'd probably know they were cheap. (I mean a good value.)

We're skipping around the world with six new wines today. Spain and South America are leading the way with value wines. I sure would love to score a trip to Spain, Chile or Argentina for a tour of their wine country. How amazing would that be, right? Maybe someday.

I'm feeling a little spicy today, so click on this video and get inspired while you're perusing the wine list. Better yet, grab your honey and take a spin around the kitchen. Then come right back and take a tour of Spain, Chile, Australia, Argentina and France. Oooh la la. Me likey.

From Spain with love. Great fruit flavor with a little bit of pepper in the finish.
Great with roasted chicken. $6.99 at BevMo!
Flavors of dark cherry and berries.
Great with pasta or BBQ. $6.99 at TJs.
One of Don's picks. A reliable and tasty red from Concha Y Toro in Chile. $7.99 at TJs.
Great little wine from Australia. This was given to me as a gift. Nice fruit flavor, hints of dark cherry,
berries and scents of oak. It tasted great with pasta and turkey meatballs.
It was also quite delish with chocolate cupcakes from Kara's Cupcakes! Price is $5-6.

The Aresti family is known in Argentina for their great wines.
This is a really delicious Sauvignon Blanc and it's on sale for $9.99 at BevMo.
Vanel is a new line of inexpensive, private label wines from France that you can find at BevMo.
The Sauvignon Blanc was a little green for my taste. But the Merlot was pretty tasty.
It's a good everyday kind of wine.  Especially for only $6.99
So there you have it. Don't forget to share your great finds with me. And take one more spin on the dance floor 'cuz it's fun. la la la la la la........la la la la la la.......la la la la la....la la la la la...........la la la la la la..!

  1. Grrrr! I just left T.J's with some 2 buck chuck chardonnay to put into my mac n cheese. (try it, the alcohol burns off, and even Clay likes the taste)
I would have given some of your new picks a try-good thing they are saved for eternity in cyberspace!
